It was all glamour and grandeur last night at the Agricultural Biotechnology Journalism Awards 2017 ceremony at Hotel Africana in Kampala.
On the cool night, journalists, scientists, science communicators and their friends gathered to recognise the best agricultural biotechnology reporters in the country. The event was organised to commemorate 10 years of the Open Forum on Agricultural Biotechnology (OFAB) in Uganda in particular and Africa in general.
The winners of the night were Henry Lutaaya of The Sunrise (2nd runner- up), Michael Ssali of The Daily Monitor (1st Runner-up) and Ronald Kato of Urban TV (Winner). You too can celebrate with us through these pictures:
