Uganda is predominantly an agricultural country employing over 78 percent of the population.
But the sector continues to face serious challenges ranging from climate change, rampant crop and animal diseases, low levels of absorption of modern technologies which all together result into low levels of productivity.

In this section we endeavour to provide relevant information to journalists on some of the contemporary discussions that could help deepen their understanding of those issues so that they can report accurately about them.
